About uPickRight

How we review products and why you should care

The problem we solve

Most supplement review sites are affiliate farms with a fresh coat of paint. They hand out 9/10 ratings like party favors, bury the disclaimers, and write "reviews" that read like the vendor's sales page with extra paragraphs.

We started uPickRight because we wanted reviews we'd actually trust before spending our own money. That means looking at PubMed, not press releases. Checking ingredient dosages, not just ingredient lists. And being honest when a product's marketing outpaces its evidence.

Our methodology

Every product goes through a structured evaluation before we publish. We analyze the claimed mechanism of action, verify ingredient research through peer-reviewed studies, compare dosages against clinical trial protocols, assess the company's transparency, and evaluate the refund policy and pricing structure.

Ratings land between 7.0 and 8.5 for a reason. Below 7, and we'd rather not review it. Above 8.5, and something smells like paid promotion. The sweet spot is where credibility lives.

How we make money

Some pages on this site contain affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This is standard practice for review sites and is how we keep the lights on.

What it does not affect: our ratings, our opinions, or our willingness to point out when a product's evidence is thin. We've given 7.0 ratings to products that pay the highest commissions in their category. The economics never touch the editorial.

What we don't do

We don't make health claims. We don't promise cures. We don't use fake urgency tactics or countdown timers. We don't fabricate study citations. And we don't pretend that "only available online" is a genuine downside worth listing in a cons section.
